Sustainable Food Awards

New Sustainable Product Award

This award is given to a new food / beverage product with some important sustainability credentials; these could be in terms of environmental impacts and / or social difference. To be eligible, the product must have been launched in the last 24 months and the sustainability credentials need to be clearly stated.

The 2018 award winner is Bogawantalawa Tea Estates Uncompensated Carbon Neutral Teas (Sri Lanka). The runner-up is Coop Switzerland Insect-Based Food Products, whilst finalists are Chocolero Energy Drink (Belgium), and SeaMore I Sea Bacon Meat Substitute (the Netherlands).
