Sustainable Food Awards

New Sustainable Product Award

This award is given to a new food / beverage product with some important sustainability credentials; these could be in terms of environmental impacts and / or social difference. To be eligible, the product must have been launched in the last 24 months and the sustainability credentials need to be clearly stated.

The finalists for the New Sustainable Product award, listed in alphabetical order, are Bogawantalawa Tea Estates Uncompensated Carbon Neutral Teas (Sri Lanka), Chocolero Energy Drink (Belgium), Coop Switzerland Insect-Based Food Products, and SeaMore I Sea Bacon Meat Substitute (the Netherlands).

The winner and runner-up will be announced at a dedicated Sustainable Food Awards reception on 7th June 2018. Winners will receive international coverage of the event and industry recognition of their sustainability achievements. Finalists and runner-ups also benefit from media coverage; they can highlight they are finalists and runner-ups in their marketing materials and corporate literature.
